I'm not a huge fan of essential oils- I personally think they're overhyped, pseudoscience, and just not for me. However, they do smell great. and they are wonderful for covering up the constant pet smell I get when I have as many as I do in and out of the house. I clean constantly, every damn day, but theres still an animal smell. Lots of pets coming in and out of a small house.
That said, essential oils are so concentrated so many are dangerous for dogs and especially cats. I'm aware theres some that are okay and safe to use, I've used them, but theyre... eh. Like, who wants their house to smell like lemongrass. Also my cats hate it. They meow constantly at lemongrass. I dont trust it.
Is there anything ELSE I can put in a diffuser? Or else I can use that is 100% pet safe? We've done the whole auto-timer glade scent spray, it just pumps out an overwhelming waft that is gone entirely 2 minutes later. The wax melts I think will get knocked over. The beads I think my cats will eat. I just want a nice smelling house :(
