Cat throwing up around twice a week?

My 4 year old cat seems to be throwing up more and more often over the past few months. He throws up bile (brown with foam). Sometimes a piece of grass since my mom lets him out in the yard, though he hasn't been out for the past week and still throws up bile.

The last vet visit was in April for his yearly shots. He was throwing up around twice a month at that time and my vet said it was normal. Though in the past month he threw up I think once a week and this week it was twice. I did notice he's been eating a lot more quickly now. Before he would usually take hours before he finished, now he finishes eating within 10 minutes. I feed him measured amounts every meal (35g per meal, he's around 10-11 pounds). Also, when he does throw up, it's around the same time each time (8am-9am) which is around the same time I feed him (9am-10am).

I'm not sure if this is an emergency, but I'm planning on monitoring him for a few weeks and if it continues at twice a week I'll call in. Aside from the throwing up, he's been the same as always. Uses the litter box and drinks everyday. Annoys me for half the day until I play with him. Sleeps for majority of the day.

Should I be worried? I'm going to try slow feeding him with by feeding him half of the 35g, then waiting like a hour before the other half. I'm not sure if this is a gorging issue because he doesn't throw up his food, just bile. It's just the frequency of his throw ups increased as be increased his eating speed it would appear.
