Cats (littermates) I think the boy is restricting access to food and water

They’re a little over two years old. Brother and sister. Girl is a sweetheart and self sufficient and the boy is a rambunctious little terror. About 10lbs and 13lbs respectively, so he outweighs her. They’re both fixed, but I’ve had to try to manage a lot of “sexual” aggression on his part where he’ll get amped up and try to rough house and then “mount” her and bite at her neck. She doesn’t fight back the way she did as a kitten, partly because he is incessant and stubborn and strong. I’ll break them up repeatedly and eventually have to lock him in a separate room.

Eating habits wise, he chows down like a dog and she grazes. Took a long time to figure out how to feed them separately to cut down on his weight gain. I put her food up in a nook because she’s much more of a climber and he can’t get to it. Outside of her poaching some of his food, this was working for a while.

But for the past week or two, she hasn’t been touching her food as much. Barely runs through it. She’s otherwise acting normally, seems healthy, but she just isn’t eating much from what I can tell. I put her in a separate room with me the other day to see if she’d eat without his presence, and she ate a little but kept glancing around and looked nervous.

I’m out of the apartment about a third to half of the week between work, social outings, and overnights with my girlfriend. I’m worried this has exacerbated problems. But I also got cats so I could have more freedom to do so. I’m worried about her and about them together. Any thoughts?
