Do you burn through wet cat food?

I was considering switching my cat over to a fully wet food diet, or partly (some days wet, some days dry).

It says that on the can each can is about ~70 calories. Right now, I feed my cat about ~250 calories (she's 13 lbs and we want her to lose some weight).

The fancy feast pate 24-pack are filled with 3oz cans (~70 calories each) for about $15. At this rate, the cat would be recommended to eat about 3 cans a day, which would only make the food last about 8 days.

Isn't this pretty bad financially? Does everyone who's on a solely wet-food diet on auto-ship every week for this stuff?

I understand it's SUPER healthy for the cat, but I feel like it can be pretty draining on the wallet.

Let me know your opinions and other routes I can take! Thanks.
