So my husky caught a Magpie and tried to kill it. I managed to get the magpie out of her mouth alive, but I heard a snap when my dog was biting the bird. I think it's wing is either dislocated/broken. I'm not sure of any other injuries because the magpie won't let us hold it. The magpie overall can still move and walk around, so I dont think it's back is injured much. I think we'll take it to a vet soon but what should we do in the meantime? We let it hand around in a different area for a while but it tried to escape onto the road to we put it in our terrarium. We were worried about taking it inside because it's partner was nearby. It's falling asleep now but still doesn't trust us. Should we build up it's trust before taking it to the vet?
