Forgive me because I have no idea how to link posts, but I posted here before about my worries regarding the three cats in my house refusing to get along. It took 3 long, heartbreaking months. We had to confine my cat to the bottom floor, and the elder two ruled upstairs. Taking advice from reddit, I worked with my roommate to force a truce in the household. We put my kitten on a leash so he couldn’t chase the elders, and let them interact with each other 1 to two hours a day. Time outs were had and many treats were given, and at last, success! Right now, all three of them are sleeping peacefully in the living room. They aren’t friends, but they tolerate each other. The kitten has learned to give them space, and I got my bed buddy back. I don’t care if anyone reads this, I just wanted to share my infinite happiness.
