If this isn't the right sub please tell me where to go! I need some advice.
There are two feral cats that would always chill in my back yard in summer months (it has the most shade compared to neighbors), so I started putting food out for them.
We also have raccoons occasionally, so I only put the food out when I see the cats around and only during the day, never overnight.
I want to put a small shelter out for the 2 kitties because we have some frigid winters but I am afraid the raccoons might try to use it.
Any advice on what to do here?
