Foster cat hiding in my walls, what should I do?

So my house is weird and has a lot of weird “holes” (spaces that a cat is able to fit in, we have an unfinished basement so that’s probably why) My two cats never crawled in them, except for one near the stairs, but they only sat at the entrance and were still visible.

Recently, we began to foster a cat and she’s taken full advantages of the holes. Originally, she’d go in the one I mentioned earlier but would go really deep and only come out really late at night. But, since we’re trying to get her used to people and prevent her from hiding all the time, we blocked that hole. I think that was a bad idea. Now, she’s found another hole that’s much harder to get to and is inside a wall as we speak. Idk how she got there but the only exit I’ve found has a steep drop, so either she climbed up or there’s another exit/hole I don’t know about.

She’ll cry occasionally and that usually means she wants to interact with you but she won’t come out. Is there anyway I can encourage her? I’m worried she’ll hurt herself if she jumps (over 5 feet drop) but I don’t know what to do frankly. Should I encourage her to jump? Or should I follow my dad’s advice and wait for her to come out on her own? Any tips would be appreciated and thanks in advance.
