For the past decade I've been seeing people re-share a ton of stories about how Hartz brand flea shampoos have caused cats or dogs to have seizures and/or die. I came to the conclusion this was fake many years ago but new stories are still coming out regularly 10 years later so I've become curious again.
Does anyone have personal experience with this product or know anyone who has?
I don't see why someone would come up with this hoax and how so many people would support it but I also don't see how retailers could consciously and/or legally continue to stock a product that has been well known to kill pets.
