They were always so used to me being there in the mornings, I work nights and my parents worked days so it always worked out, the dogs always had someone home with them. Now that I moved out, they are going to be alone from 6 am - 4 pm.
I plan on visiting multiple days throughout the week, if not for the simple fact of letting them outside to go to the bathroom, it's because I love them and know they will miss me because they were very attached to me, we went for a walk every day. So I still plan on stopping up throughout the week, I'd feel guilty if I didn't.
But do you think I can do this in moderation? Say, only visit three out of the five days a week and once in a while on the weekend? Or would it just depress the dogs more if sometimes I showed up and sometimes I didn't? Like, wouldn't they be waiting for me and expecting me to come through the whole day on the days I don't visit?
What do I do? I don't want to visit every day, that would be a waste of gas and would be better off still living with my parents.
