I have a dog and would really like to get a cat (or two) but im worried about introducing them to each other. A friend told me like to first pet the dog with the cats scent on me. Then to bring the cat in petting it while holding it, letting the dog see it. Then let her come closer so long as shes calm and let her sniff but not lick the cat. Then repeat cycle.
