I am dogsitting a small-medium size dog (cavachon) for a couple weeks at Christmas. Issue is, I have a large cat (maine coon). The cat is about 7, the dog is about 2.
I will be keeping the doggie in my bedroom & taking it downstairs to the garden. Should I always carry the dog and make sure to avoid the cat at all costs, or should I try to introduce them?
I wouldn't want the cat to get too spooked or for them to hurt each other.
