Hi friends, I’ve had my cat Basil for close to 6 years now, and he’s always been great. Ever since we moved into a house with roommates he’s been a little stressed out but has managed well for the past 3 or so months, until my roommate got a dog. Basil has lived with other dogs and cats before, and it’s never been an issue, but suddenly he won’t leave my room, keeps peeing in my bed, and won’t play ever.
I’ve taken him to the vet worried it was a urinary track issue, but all his tests came back negative. I genuinely don’t know what to do about this. I bought a new cat tree to hopefully get him to enjoy the living room a little bit more but he keeps ignoring everything I do. I’ve had to wash my sheets 4 times in the last week because of this, and it’s getting truly exhausting.
