She’s an extremely smart dog. I’ve trained her pretty much everything within the household. But once she could get out of an open gate that’s accidently open, theres no listening and going back. She’s smart enough to do whatever she wants. When she runs, I mean she darts out like pitbull speed. The more she gets out, the better she trains herself to get away better and faster. It is literally impossible to get her, she knows we’re trying to get her and she’ll sprint her ass when I try to catch her. It’s so embarrassing, any REAL advice on how to undo this? I’ve never experienced anything like this with a dog, and this is one of the most difficult things I’ve faced for dogs. My fear is that the next time she runs out, especially when I’m not home but my parents are, is that she’ll run endlessly and get hit by a car (she’s very unaware of streets and cars).
