Every time I’ve looked up how to stop this, I get an article about how to stop dog-on-cat aggression. The thing is, our dog LOVES cats. She loves to snuggle with them and is always very gentle. Last week I took home a cat from my clinic that was going to be euthanized if it didn’t find a home. She is the biggest asshole to my dog - my dog keeps her distance because she’s been hit by her too many times, but this cat will go OUT OF HER WAY to find my dog and slap/scratch her. I’m talking me and the dog will be chilling sitting on the floor, and the cat will walk over, swat and hiss at the dog, and then walk away again. It scares my dog and makes her cry. What do I do? I don’t want to just give up but I can’t stand seeing this cat bully my little girl.
