The second battle with fleas has begun and arose. I thought I exterminated the most of what I had thought to be the second battle yesterday with some over-the-counter (and seriously expensive) neck ointment, but apparently not! One just jumped on me earlier and escaped. I will check the ointment's name later, but for now I'm just camping in the bathroom, asking Reddit how do go about my war with tiny bugs.
Background information: I go outside quite a bit but that's probably not the origin of the problem. A friend with a junking her!an Shepard comes over and she's huge. She scratches herself and it's pretty clear when she does it so I speculated the brought them in at first (all of this is second time, first time was another dog.) Another guest might be bringing them in too because they're a cat lover and have outdoor cats, which have a history (an extensive history) of fleas, so maybe we should ask them to not enter or something like that. I don't really know at this point. My kitty is suffering and so am I, so any help would be much appreciated/recommendations. Thank you
