A few months ago our new kitten peed on a spot on the carpet a few times. We cleaned it immediately each time and there was never any smell of urine after that. We recently carpet cleaned the room just because the carpet looked dirty and now the entire place reeks of cat urine. Is there any way to get rid of the smell? Pet shampoo cleaners with enzymes haven't helped at all. The vinegar and baking soda method didn't help either. Will it air out with enough time? I don't get why it didn't smell before but now it suddenly reeks.
