Hi all, I recently acquired a 9 year old goldfish (I think female) and wanted to get her a friend to keep her from getting lonely. She had tank mates when she was a baby, but that was years ago. She was purchased as a feeder fish, but we kept her as a pet and she is now about 5-6 inches long) Should I get her another gold fish from the pet store, or is it possible to get another feeder fish that will grow up with her? She is currently in a 20 gallon tank with fake foliage and a rock formation that a small fish would be able to swim through (but she can not). What do you guys think?
