I feel a bit weird saying started dog, but I can't think of a better worn rn. I am pretty much financially stable now and I finally wanted to adopt or buy a dog. I live in a medium sized (6 rooms bathroom and kitchen included) apartment with a huge balcony. I go to school/work 8 to 11 hours a day, but i am Home on the weekends. My only experience with dogs is dog sitting two old golden retrievers and living/dog sitting two small adorable Kings charles cavalier spaniels. I am disabled aswell, so sometimes i can't walk the dog. My parents could do it, but it would be a shorter walk. I know I can't get a big or high energy dog because of that. I don't want a super small dog either, like a chihuahua would be too small. Anything kings charles to medium size would be nice. I would love to adopt or buy one, depending on what the shelter has.
Do you have any advice on breeds which are easier to manage for a first time dog owner? I know no dog is easy and all of them are a huge money and time investment. And money pretty much isn't an issue since I work any my parents have good money.
