Hi, I have a 13 yr old chow and when his forced to sleep inside he only sleeps on our wooden floors. When it’s time to get up, often his back legs will slip from under him because he doesn’t have traction. Are there any suggestions for how to help him. There’s no convincing him to sleep on carpet , blanket, or a pet bed. Odd dog wants to sleep on the coldest hardest surface he can get.
