I have a 16 yo cat I adopted 2 years ago. My question is why is this cat so much more able to maintain its weight so well when it’s food bowl is full 24/7.? I’m not trying to get her to gain weight but compared to other cats I’ve had whose bowl has been full all the time, they’ve all gotten fatter. I feel like she was definitely a stray at some point by the way she plays and how vibrant her personality is.
Idk if this has been asked before but I’ve been wanting to know for a while now.
