We took our cat to the vet because he was vomiting a LOT. She recommended switching his food from Meow Mix to Royal Canin, because he might've been allergic to the protein and carbs. She gave us a ziploc bag of the new food and he stopped vomiting in a couple days. We ran out of the sample and just continued giving him meow mix (the food we've been giving him before) and for a couple months we've had clean carpet.
He's starting to vomit again (not nearly as much as he used to but he's puked twice in the past three days). I'm looking up where to buy Royal Canin and it's so expensive! I'll pay it if it's the best option for him but are there similar foods that we can try before I pay $80 for a bag?
