Hey so I'm not the owner, just the nanny, but I'm obviously with their dog for long periods of time.
I've worked for them for almost three years and she will do this about once a month and it will usually be a stretch of a few days where she gets so worked up, she starts licking and a ton of air goes into her belly and it gets upset to the point she throws up. After she throws up she'll keep doing it until days later she finally calms down.
I obviously chat with her owners when this happens but it's very difficult on my job when this happens. They have 3 children and two of them are on the spectrum so it takes alot of my attention. When she gulps/throws up for the days in end, it gets very very stressful for me because I don't have the time to sit with her, and calm her down.
Anyone else deal with this and do you have any advice for me? Any advice I can pass along to her owners? You think she needs to be on medication for anxiety? Thanks guys!
