What’s the best flea treatment after you’ve tried nearly everything else? Should we just go all out and flea bomb? We have had fleas for going on 6 weeks and have tried natural spray, sprinkling borax on the carpets, professionals using insect growth regulator, treating the dogs (flea pill that kills them after 30 minutes - don’t remember the name), flea baths, daily brushing and combing...still getting bites on my kiddo.
Background: We noticed flea bites on 3/4 of my family in late December. We’ve only spotted less than 10 adult fleas since then. We tried getting some natural flea spray at Petsmart with no luck. We called a professional pest control company who has been out 3 times over the past 6 weeks...at least two of the times they sprayed growth inhibitor. I tried sprinkling (understatement) all of our carpets with borax and vacuuming it up. We just found bites on my kid tonight.
My family is on its last nerve with this. I know it can take months, but we are out of patience with our kids getting bit.
Do we just need to go nuclear and fumigate the house? Help!
