Have a super newborn kitten.

Yesterday a stray/street cat gave birth to 2 kittens in my yard.
But today I saw her injured bitten by local street dogs and took het to a vet but she passed.
Took both newborn kittens(eyes seem to still closed ) to the vet since one of them seemed unresponsive with no breathing the vet said it might be a still birth and declared him/her dead and other might not have gotten mother's milk and might die soon.
So I have a newborn kitten with me trying to keep warm with blankets in a enclosed box and feeding her/him lactol based baby formula with a dropper every 20mins when he starts crying.
Anything more I should be doing?
Am I doing something wrong?
Someone in my family suggested finding other lactating cat and add my kitten to her litter is this ok?
