Our puppy Luna has recently gotten into the habit of nudging her food bowl (plastic, ceramic or stainless steel) until all of the food goes flying over the floor. For a while, we thought she preferred eating from the floor, but that's not the case. She often does something similar things with her water bowl.
We have changed her food and the dramatics did stop for a little while. We think she might just be tired of the flavor because if we add anything new or exciting to the bowl (recently soaked oats and tuna), she dives right in! My partner thinks she doesn't like her food and that we should change it, but I honestly feel like she's just growing tired of it and is a picking girl.
Has anyone experienced this behavior before and have any advice?
PS She is not sick, has been to the vet before, during and after the episodes and is perfectly healthy!
