I'm heartbroken. My brother got this doberman labrador mix in September 2019. When they got him he only went for 2shots and my dad was supposed to take him for his third. My brother and I tried telling this to my dad but he just kept writing it off. Dad's a busy guy in general but even my stepmom made no effort to take him. I live on my own but I visit them often especially over the holidays, I bonded with the pup then.
Three days ago we noticed Baby (his name) wasn't eating anymore and has diarrhea. We took him to the vet and they said its parvovirus. I cried myself to sleep last night, I really didn't think our time with Baby would be this short. He's currently in a treatment unit for pups with parvo. I'm pissed at my dad. I will forever be against them owning a dog. I hope Baby is going to be okay but it seems unlikely.
