Yesterday my beloved 9 year old dog, (still not entirely sure how), suffered a mouth injury which led him to bleed profusely & sent me rushing like a crazy person to my nearest pet hospital; fast forward a few hours into treatment & an examination of his mouth the vet told me that my poor baby would need so teeth extractions due to the trauma he’d suffer as well as an exploratory surgery because they’ve discovered some weird extra tissue on the opposite side of his mouth which could very well be cancer due to his age😔. Aside from this, he’s an otherwise really healthy dog according to all his pre-op blood work but I’m still scared of what they might find during his surgery today & also about how many teeth they might end up having to extract.
