Hello! This is my first post so thanks for reading. My family and I were about to adopt to kittens and went through everything, including paperwork and shots. The only thing left to do was to pick them up. After they got shots, one of the kittens got sick with a fever and was sent to the hospital (for pets obviously). It got out of the hospital after staying overnight and seemed better. About 2 days later, it had to be readmites for the same symptoms. We are now unsure if we should adopt these kittens because we are afraid the virus might stick with him and we’ll be dealing with a bunch of vet visits. The vets are unsure what it is and all tests came back negative, so it seems to be a virus that’s maybe going undetected? But they suspect that he may have had a virus and then got the shot for it which enhanced the symptoms.
Not sure what to do and really need some advice. Thank you!
