We have a 9 year old dog, he a small lap dog, still has his parts(couldn’t afford to get him fixed. And my mother says he’s to old to be fixed now plus to expensive.)
Well he often will pee on the furniture while we are away, even for less than an hour. We let him outside before leaving as well, yet he still does it.
My mother even rubs his nose in it because she think he’s still not getting the idea that he shouldn’t be doing it despite us having him since he was only weeks old.
She says it’s because he’s angry that we leave and that he never wants us to leave the house. I keep telling her it’s because he isn’t fixed.
I’d like to know what can be done to alleviate this matter.
