Adopted first cat yesterday, cat got out of the safe room and now has gotten under the bed and isn't coming out. What do I do?

I got my cat (4rs) home last night, and immediately put her into a safe bathroom. Unfortunately the door to the bathroom is really noisy when it swings closed and it was scaring the cat so I left the door slightly open. My cat got out and now has sniffed around the place, and even slept on my bed last night.

However she is now hiding under my bed even though I've tried to plug it up. What should I do? Should I return her to the safe room or just let her be under the bed.
