I've spoken with a local shelter and arranged to adopt a very cute 8-week-old male kitten next week, after he's been neutered. My fiance and I own one other cat, another neutered male who is about 1.5-2 (not super concerned about him being territorial, as he seems to get along very well with other cats, even males). The youngest cat I've ever owned was at least 6 months old, so this will be entirely new territory for me--for both of us, since my fiance has much less experience with cats than I do!
I'm just looking for general advice and any tips from others who have raised kittens. From what I understand, it sounds like he is a part of a litter of strays who were brought into the shelter, so I don't believe he is house-trained. I'll happily take any advice on this as well! Thanks, guys!
