Our almost 1 year old cat won't sleep at night. I was envisioning him roaming around the house and maybe sleeping in our bed or our son's bed. Instead he roams around the house batting around the blinds or something that makes a lot of noise. When my wife and I lay down he normally comes in the bed and my wife pets him for a few, he then goes directly to a chair we have in our bedroom and starts scratching on it. We've had to take him to our basement with his food/water and shut him down there where his litter box is. He then proceeds to scratch at the door throughout the night, he's torn a bit of carpet up near the door. Im over it, I like the cat and enjoy having him as a pet, but I'm completely over the night time shit. Help.
