So I have a male cavapoo around 9 years old. He’s always been very active, healthy and puppy like. About 4 months ago I noticed his teeth suddenly got pretty brown/yellow. We would occasionally brush his teeth but they always were white and healthy. I purchased him some more tooth paste designed to help prevent any placque/tartar buildup. Nothing’s helped, they’ve seemed to get worse. I told my parents (I’m 19 and they pay the vet bills) and they said it’s fine and normal for a dog. But his back teeth are just so....gross to look at. What should I do? Is there any toothpastes for dog recommendations? Should I still bother my parents about taking him to the vet?
