So I recently discovered my cat loves fuzzy ball toys. Like the cheap 3 for a dollar kind available pretty much anywhere
You give her one and she plays with it for hours, it's the only toy she'll actively carry around in her mouth, and that she makes a point of "keeping safe", she carries it away from anything it can get stuck under, or from the front door ect, she even leaves in one of those plastic ball chaser tracks when shes done with it so it doesn't go missing.
What's odd though is shes extremely loud while playing with it, and not meows or purrs, shes constantly "yelping" at it, in such a way that every other cat I've had would indicate distress, and loud enough to be heard anywhere in my apartment.
Shes obviously not distressed so I'm not worried, just curious if anyone has any idea why shes making a distress sound?
