My dog (small Japanese Spitz) gave birth to just one pup two nights ago(the night Saturday June 6, 2020) and she was totally fine the following day (Sunday).
Now this Monday morning to my surprise she started bleeding through her nose a lot with a little bits of blood clot (little bits of clumped ip blood)..
I'm bringing her to the vet but I was wondering if I can just treat her with some home remedies.
I started doing what I read on the internet which is to apply cold compress on the nose bridge to slow down blood discharge. The nose bleed stopped for a while and she fell asleep.
I thought every was going to be fine but later this noon, she started bleeding again and I cleaned her up and applied cold compress again and the bleeding stopped and she fell asleep again.
Thankfully she still has the appetite to eat and drink.. What should I do?
