I have a chihuahua terrier mix, cute doggie but I am having so much trouble getting him to brush his teeth. I have tried watching youtube videos and using strategies such as letting him try toothpaste but he just doesn't lick it up or seem to like it. I have also tried to get him comfortable with me touching his face, teeth by giving him treats slowly but hasn't helped much.
Any tips anyone can give me? About how long does it take to get my dog comfortable brushing his teeth with either the small finger brush or actual brush?
