I'm going to be moving into an apartment in another state at the end of the year. I have a cat who is about 12 years old and he's very scared of car rides. He always pants constantly and pees himself when I have to take him to the vet. Would it be safer for me to take him on a plane? It's about a 20 hour drive by car but only a 2-3 hour trip by plane.
I'm worried he won't calm down in the car and could have a heart attack from stress/fear. But my concern with the plane is he will do the scared yowling nonstop and I will get kicked out of the airport.
