Pet Duck Help

Hi. We recently found a baby duck in our backyard with no sign of its family. Currently we are taking care of it for the night as everywhere was closed and we planned to take it to a wildlife care center in the morning. But as I've been taking care of it I've kind of taken a liking to the little guy and did some research about keeping them as pets and found that they are a low maintenance pet. But regardless i want to ensure the duck is happy and will absolutely give it up if living with us isn't ideal for the duck.

My biggest concern is that I don't live on a farm. I have what I would call an average sized yard in a suburban area. Would this provide ample room for a duck. I also read that you should have atleast 2 ducks so I would buy at least one more if we do decide to keep it.

We also have 2 dogs, the dogs live inside but obviously use the yard for playing, hanging out, and going to the bathroom so would that affect the ducks?

Any other advice/tips are much appreciated.

As I said I am perfectly willing to give the duck up if living conditions aren't ideal, but if they are I would love to take care of some and hopefully give this baby duck a good life.
