Hi all, I've got a tough question for you all, but if any place can answer, it's this. I am quite busy with work and am hardly home. I do like all animals but I won't keep dogs as I just do not have the time to walk them or show them the attention they deserve. They also shed everywhere and I don't really want a poodle.
I love cats as well but I had two burmese before and they were super vocal and shed hair every where and it was a pain to get hair out of all my clothes and furniture. I don't fancy the hairless cats that don't shed.
I have been keeping fish for the last few years and they are awesome. They are really the perfect pet for me. Quiet, low maintenance, and can even survive for a week if I travel as I have a auto pellet feeder. However, I don't want any more fish tanks as they take up a lot of space, the filters on the big tanks are noisy as hell, and are messy.
I thought about birds but they make too much noise and I feel strongly about putting animals that usually fly around in the sky in a small cage. I don't have space for a large aviary.
Not a fan of insects/spiders. Don't want to keep reptiles either as I don't enjoy feeding animals to them, and do prefer more active pets that don't just lie there 99% of the time and only move for feeding. Ferrets apparently need a lot of attention. Don't really want to keep hamsters/rabbits/hermit crabs as I had heaps as a kid.
What else is left? Sorry for the difficult question. Thank you.
