I got a ?Persian? (He’s a rescue so I don’t know his actual breed but he looks very very Persian) cat four weeks ago and on the second day of having him I noticed that every time I would sing he’d knead the blanket. Over the four weeks that we’ve had him this kneading has slowly gotten more intense and now he full on humps the blanket every time someone sings. Why does he do this? He’s neutered so why does singing make him get uuuh idk how to describe it he gets “the hots” haha. He likes long floaty notes like musical theatre songs and he gets really into the blanket for tonight you belong to me. If there isn’t anything fuzzy around he will meow and knead my clothes or hair. my cat kneading after I sang (this is before it escalated to humping)
