i’ve been wanting to get a cat for a while and because of coronavirus, it’s become more of an option since i will be home for the next few months. however, my brother is also home for the time being (he is working remotely because of the virus) and he brought his cat (almost a year old). i was planning on getting a cat once he left but it seems like he might stay longer because my parents are worried and wants his home until the vaccine comes out.
would it be okay if i got a cat even if my brothers cat is here? i’m worried they might form a bond and will be sad when they are separated eventually.
