I recently moved into a carpeted bedroom with a lot of puppy urine stains in it. My parents said they tried to clean them up as soon as possible with some dog urine carpet spray, and she mostly peed on top of mats, but still stained through to the carpet. They're still visible and it's likely a lot of them weren't treated immediately.
Is this dangerous to my health? I've read a lot how dried urine stains can create bacteria and even mold if it had reached the subfloor. I've had frequent sinus infections but those come somewhat regularly. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
