Hi there, I’m a very first time kitten owner (since saturday) and just yesterday brought my 8 week old to the vet. She received her vaccination and also a dewormer as roundworms were found in her fecal test. Here’s my issue: Her stools have been particularly runny, she’s been getting poop-tail and scooting since yesterday, and today she went outside of the litter box which has never occurred before. This all happened after she got her first dose of deworming medicine and I was wondering if this was normal? Since I got her i’ve been worried as she’s a bit lethargic, disengaged with toys, and she’s very light (14oz). The vet was very calm about all this and told me to give her time but the diarrhea and litter issues are concerning me.
