Been seeing less and less of my cat recently, should I be concerned?

Hey everybody, I'm a bit worried about my cat. Over the last few weeks she's been keeping to herself more than usual. She used to sleep with me pretty regularly, but now she wanders off at night and don't really see her again until we feed her the next day. And aside from feedings or a quick scratch on the head, she's been very scarce. I know cats are naturally independent, but she's usually very affectionate and cuddly, and this pretty uncharacteristic of her. She doesn't even like being pet anymore.

Overall, no major physical changes, and nothing visibly/audibly wrong with her, she just seems uncomfortable around us.

We did have our other cat put down due to heart failure about a month ago, and for a week or so she was searching for him relentlessly, but then she stopped and pretty much went back to normal, so I don't know if this is related.

Other info: she's 2¼, fixed, and I don't know her breed but she looks like a miniature maine coon.

TL;DR: Cat suddenly doesn't like being around me or the fam, is she ok? Am I just overreacting?

Any help is appreciated!
