My one year old, approx. 9 pound cat managed to get into the fajitas we had for dinner. I found her hunched over the pan, several slices of onion on the counter beside her. I don’t know if she ate any of them but she apparently had several in her mouth and spat them out. It’s possible she also ate meat that had been cooked with the onions.
I know onion is toxic for cats. Our vet is closed for the night. Is there anything I should do other than keep an eye on her and call the vet in the morning? She’s acting fine right now.
