Hello Redditors,
I have a cat who I have had now since practically his birth. He is a little under a year old and has started showing behaving in some weird ways. He has always been a slightly aloof cat, but recently he hurt his leg and thankfully has stopped limping. But two days directly after he hurt his leg, he got hit in the eye from shoelaces (was moving shoes off the bed and didn't see him on the ground until after the throw). Now he seems to be hiding a ton, and doesn't have zoomies whereas he has had them every night since we got him. He runs under the bed when he sees me or my partner. What should I do?
I dont want to force myself on him and give him time to recover. But I also don't want him hating us for the rest of his life. I'm scared Reddit. Any advice?
