The title says it all I guess. I am leaving on one of my dream vacations – going to the Northeast (US) to experience real autumn! I’m a Texan so we only have summer, surface of the sun, and frigid winter. Anyway, I am leaving my dog in a boarding facility and this will be the longest time we’ve ever spent a part. I took her to half a day of doggy day care yesterday m and she got a great report card except for the few bouts of anxiety that they observed. She takes after her mama LOL. Anyway, I’m sure this is just separation anxiety on my part but does anybody have any suggestions on how to deal with this particular type of situation? Also, boarding is currently my only option. All of my family just have too many obligations whether it be children, jobs, or even their own pets, everybody very politely declined to take care of her. I completely understand. I’m just trying to put myself at ease with this whole situation. My poor bub, she’s an anxious girl too.
