Fleas in home but not on dog

So we've gotten the house treated twice, put diatomaceous earth everywhere for a week, have 95% of our clothes bagged up, threw out the one carper we have, throw our clothes directly in the wash, clean our bedding every single day, vacuum everyday and mop everyday, yet my girlfriend and I get bit in bed STILL after two weeks from initial treatment. And my dog never ever comes in the bedroom. He's been limited to the living room.

My dog is taking nexgard and I gave him capstar a few days straight (now going to give it once a week) and he's been flealess this entire time. We had a flea infested cat enter the walls, which we've dealt with and sealed up, but now I'm wondering if fleas just keep leaving the wall near our bedroom and finding us at night. I'm not sure what else to do. We're literally going to move out if this keeps up.

Any suggestions? My exterminator will keep coming back to treat for fleas because it's "guaranteed", but what else can we do? We're losing our goddamn minds. Thanks in advance
