This week I am adopting a dog from a family that is unable to give her all the attention she needs. They love her and that’s why they’re choosing to give her a new home. Right now she has one name but my parents already have a dog with that same name. I want to rename her so it isn’t confusing to me when discussing the dogs. Is it mean to rename her so that it’s a fresh start for both of us?
